Acceptable stay, but room issues

The hotel location is in the center of everything. It was perfect for a short visit.
The room I was assigned felt depressing. The window looked directly onto a wall, only inches away. the front desk staff seemed indifferent, and they didn't appear very friendly. The breakfast included was acceptable, but I expect eggs for protein.

the beautiful twin room i stayed in was super spacious! breakfast was awesome too (especially the pastries). the hotel's location made sightseeing so easy as it was in the heart of everything.
the courtyard could use a little sprucing up, it felt a bit bare.

central location is perfect

the location worked well. it sits near the centre but also has a short walk from the station. i found my large bedroom super clean and cozy. the breakfast was great and had good gluten free options. it was a good experience (i really appreciated it).
the front desk staff were not very friendly. i also read about them in a review before i booked. the air conditioner was placed badly up high. it did not cool the room unless you closed the bathroom door. that blocked the air vents.

the breakfast was actually quite good. the staff in the dining room were attentive. the hotel's location is amazing. it is within walking distance of almost everything.
the air conditioning was not working properly. it could not chill the room at all, this was a big problem. the room overlooked the back of the building. it had a super ugly view into the backyard.

the staff were excellent. the room was lovely. breakfast was very good. it offered a great start to the day.
the furniture was minimal and poorly designed. there was no decor. the only outside window faced a lightwell. it had drainage pipes , made noise when toilets above us flushed.
